My brother Danny has a sports related entry on his blog. I figured I would put an anime related post on my blog. The only anime I am familiar with was the Star Blazers series that I watched back in the early 80's. Clip one is a Japanese version of the opening and number two is an American version.

The Japanese clip is from the third Uchu Senkan Yamato series (The Bolar Wars). That one was dubbed by the same actors as the first two, but only the first two series were syndicated to our market (Seattle's Channel 11) and I've never seen the third one. It's certainly handy that they could reuse the theme song for each series, and simply change the middle verse!
